Dr. Williams graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, where he was recognized for his clinical skills and academic performance and was an active member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Williams completed clinical rotations in Ocular disease at the VA hospital in Viera, Florida, Bond-Wroten Eye Clinics in Hammond, Denham Springs, and Amite as well as numerous University sponsored outpatient clinics throughout San Antonio. In 2017 he was selected by the Texas Optometric Association Executive Committee & Board of Trustees as 1 of 6 candidates in the state of Texas to serve on the Future Optometric Leadership Development board.

Dr. Williams was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas, where he spent his youth playing Texas high school football and baseball for the Lufkin Panthers, and went on to play baseball at the collegiate level. He is excited to be back in East Texas providing vision care for the Atlanta community.

During his free time, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, volunteering with local civic organizations, hunting, fishing and staying in shape.
