Our office houses a fully equipped optical department so that we can fit eyewear, fabricate lenses and make repairs in the office.

Dr. Randal M. Cox

Dr. Cox founded what is now known as Family Eye Care Clinic in 1980.

Since that time, he's become known to the medical community and his patients for his expertise, as well as his warm and gentle manner.

Dr. Cox received his Undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Houston. Following this, he graduated with honors from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he was elected to the Beta Sigma Kappa honor fraternity.

Dr. Cox is a member of numerous regional and national professional associations, including the East Texas Optometric Society, the Texas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association, the American Optometric Foundation, and the International Contact Lens Society.

He maintains an active profile in the community and in his church as well. He has served as a member of the Atlanta Lions Club, past director of Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce and volunteer for the United Way. He has been a member of Atlanta Baseball Association and coached little league baseball for fourteen years. He enjoys hunting, fishing, reading and playing golf.

Dr. Cox makes his home in Atlanta with his wife Rita.
